Analyst-cap reform: model disagreement stays visible
- Changed: We removed the caps that limited how far each model's estimate could sit from the analyst consensus. They were quietly forcing the five models to agree — on roughly a fifth of company-days all five landed on the same number. Removing them lets the models' real disagreement show, which is what this platform exists to measure
- New: A wide safety bound (roughly 0.4×–2× analyst consensus) still catches extreme outliers. Expect wider spreads between models and somewhat more negative average gaps for now — this is the reform working, not a regression
- Changed: Updated the model instructions to give clearer, non-conflicting guidance on discount rates and to stop nudging estimates toward the analyst target
