Direction = stock moved toward (✓) or away from (✗) the AI estimate. Based on 1-day reaction. Showing each company's most recent report from the past 100 days — between seasons this reflects the full previous quarter.
AI models produce 12-month fair value estimates, not quarterly EPS forecasts. "Direction" measures whether the stock moved toward the AI estimate after earnings — not whether the earnings themselves were predicted.
AI 3d — AI gap change over the 3 trading days after earnings. Because the gap is measured against the share price, it largely tracks the price move (opposite sign) unless the AI revised its own estimate — a reading that diverges from the stock's move is the genuine AI re-rating.
✓ Converged — the stock moved in the direction the AI predicted.
✗ Diverged — the stock moved opposite to the AI prediction.
– Neutral — stock moved < 1% or AI gap was < 3% — too small to call a direction.
